Starting from February 15, 2022, Binance Smart Chain (BSC) officially changed its name to BNB Chain. This change is in preparation for a new era of MetaFi and its accompanying infrastructures. BNB Chain is an open source and community-driven ecosystem that built on a decentralized and permissionless environment. It has the same mission as the BSC's: to provide the core infrastructure required for future public adoption.
